The Tax Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities of the company, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, managing tax reporting and filings, supporting audits, and providing tax guidance to business operations.
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare, review, and submit all tax declarations accurately and on time, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT), and other applicable taxes.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Monitor tax law changes and assess their impact on business operations.
Tax Accounting Management
- Supervise tax accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of tax transactions in the ERP system.
- Reconcile tax accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
- Review accounting entries related to revenue, expenses, inventory, promotions, and trade marketing activities.
Audit & Tax Inspection Support
- Coordinate and support tax audits, inspections, and inquiries from tax authorities.
- Prepare required documentation and explanations for tax reviews.
- Manage tax risk assessments and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Business Partnership
- Evaluate tax implications of new business initiatives, promotional programs, and distribution models.
- Support management with tax planning opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
Process Improvement & Internal Control
- Develop and improve tax processes, controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and corporate governance requirements.
- Participate in system implementation and automation projects related to taxation and accounting.
